Why You Should Choose Sandweiss Test Prep for Your ACT Prep

Since 1998, Sandweiss Test Prep has been offering comprehensive test preparation services, academic tutoring, and admissions consulting to high school students throughout the Puget Sound.  We’ve helped students attending public high schools in the Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, Everett, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Northshore, Issaquah and Lake Washington school districts and beyond, and just about every area private school as well.

We also work online with individuals or groups of students throughout the U.S.  If our course schedules do not suit you, please let us know!  We can create a customized test prep program for you.

We are a local company dedicated to providing professional, high-quality instruction, small classes, affordable rates, and flexible learning options, all with the goal of helping you succeed on your ACT. Our test prep provides the most comprehensive support you’re likely to find when researching ACT course options. We’ll teach you to tackle every question type in detail, provide you with effective strategies for managing each section, and help you maximize your overall score.

In addition to providing expert test prep, we also counsel families through all aspects of the college admissions process.  Let us know if you’d like our help navigating the path to finding and applying to your “best fit” schools.

For the summer and fall of 2021, we will hold both online and in-person, small group ACT course options.  Online courses will be held via Zoom with lesson times specified in synchronous time, and the number of students to be capped at six to ensure that all students receive the attention they need.  In-person courses will be held in our new Seattle office with the number of students capped at four (fully vaccinated) students per class.

We will continue to primarily use our online proctoring system so all students can take their practice tests at their convenience at home.  For students taking in-person courses, we may offer in-office proctoring on a limited basis for an additional cost; please let us know if you’re interested in this.

**In addition to providing proof of vaccination (2nd dose received at least two weeks prior to the first class), students attending in-person courses will be required to comply with any other WA State and CDC group safety guidelines in place when the course begins.

Great customer service: reminders, and recommendations on how best to move forward. In the end, great results with a significant improvement in ACT score. Also, I appreciate that they manage the learning process - always easier for someone other than the parent to apply pressure, guidance, etc.

My son had a great experience here. He boosted his test-taking confidence AND test score. I highly recommend Sandweiss, for their first rate tutors and top-notch facility.

Steve, Rob, Laurie and everyone, I want to thank you for helping Holly to prepare for the ACT. She received a score of 33 today which is 3 points higher than her prior test score without your help. Thank you again for your hard work. It is very much appreciated!… We will make sure to recommend you to everyone we come across who will be taking the ACT/SAT.

ACT Sample Question

Please submit your answer and your email address. Immediately following, you will see a short video featuring Steve Sandweiss, who will demonstrate how to solve this problem using the techniques we teach our students.

A family will rent a picnic shelter for $200 for a reunion. The cost of the shelter will be distributed equally among the people who plan to attend. The current cost per person will decrease by $1 if 10 more people plan to attend the reunion.
