Prep Course & Tutoring Policies

Group Course Policies


  • A deposit payment of $125 is required to hold your place in a course.
  • Full payment for all group courses is due at or before the first course lesson. If you would like to pay the course fee in installments, let us know. We’re happy to help you arrange a payment plan. Please contact us for details.
  • Course Refund Policy: The $125 deposit and any other course payments are fully refundable up until one week before the course begins. Within one week of the course start date, all payments EXCEPT for the deposit will be refunded upon request, minus a $25 processing fee. The $125 course deposit is not refundable within one week of the course start date.  After the first class session, a prorated refund amount may be provided upon request. No refunds will be available after the second class lesson.

Course Repeat

If you take an ACT, SAT or GRE test prep course with us and don’t get the score you want, we offer the opportunity of a one-time repeat of our next, scheduled course for the cost of the course deposit, currently $125. Please note that if the second course is taking the same practice tests as your original course, you may wish to schedule different practice tests and separate test review lessons which would incur additional charges.

Please note:

  • If your original course was condensed – fewer hours and offered at a reduced price – you will be asked to pay the difference in course fees, plus the Repeat Fee.
  • The repeat option includes the course lessons, practice tests and test reviews.
  • Study Hall is not included for students repeating the course at a reduced fee.
  • A new prep book is not included for students repeating the course at a reduced fee. Please make sure to bring the book you received in your original course.  If that isn’t possible, please purchase a new book before your repeat course begins.  We do not sell books, and therefore we cannot provide a second book.

Tutoring Policies


  1. The first step is to complete this Tutoring Registration Form.
  2. We will reach out to you with any questions we have about your request.
  3. We will work with you via email to create a complete tutoring schedule that suits your needs.
  4. Though we strive to complete your tutoring schedule as quickly as possible, please allow extra time during peak testing seasons.
  5. We will alway keep each student with the same tutor throughout their prep, unless scheduling needs are too complex.

A Few Additional Scheduling Notes:

  • We respond to scheduling requests during business hours on weekdays.
  • Scheduling Hours:   9:00am-5:00pm Mondays – Fridays
    • Scheduling and rescheduling requests received on Fridays after 2:00pm or on weekends will generally be addressed the following Monday.
    • Scheduling requests received after 5:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays will be addressed on the next day.
  • Please provide all requests to schedule and/or reschedule appointments via email.
    • We are unable to schedule appointments over the phone.


  • All tutoring fees are expected up front – at or before each appointment.
  • Your Tutoring Registration and Materials Fee is due when your tutoring schedule is confirmed – before your first appointment may begin.
  •  You may pay for each appointment individually – “as you go” – or please pay in advance for as many appointments as you’d like.
  • If payments are not received each week or otherwise in a timely manner, and prior arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to refuse service or to request that a student call a parent/guardian to make the payment prior to beginning the tutoring session.


We understand that many of our clients have very busy schedules and that situations arise that would require rescheduling or canceling an appointment.  Please remember that your tutor’s time has been reserved for you and he/she will be expecting you at your scheduled and confirmed time.  We kindly request that you provide us with 48 hours notice to avoid charges. Notice of less than 48 hours will generally incur charges for the full amount of the initially-scheduled session fee. Appointments considered to be a ‘No Show’ with no call to cancel will be charged at the full tutoring rate. Registering for Standardized Tests

Our group course and private tutoring programs do not include registration for the actual test. We are not affiliated with any of the official testing organizations and provide practice tests only!
