Private Tutoring

Many students choose to supplement their class sessions with in-depth individual tutoring. These one-on-one meetings are helpful for working on problem areas and for reviewing full-length practice tests. For students who cannot attend any of the scheduled classes, or for those students who only need to improve their performance on a specific portion of the test, it may make more sense to prepare solely with individual tutoring.

We offer tutoring in Seattle for the SAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, ISEE and a number of SAT II subject tests. Private tutoring in Bellevue and elsewhere in the Seattle/Tacoma area is also available. Please call us for details. We also offer admissions consulting and assistance with personal statements.

Tutoring Rates

Practice Tests

1 hour : $60.

3 hours pre-paid : $175

6 hours pre-paid : $345

9 hours pre-paid : $510

Please call us to discuss rates for more than nine hours.

Tutoring fees must be paid in advance.

We recommend that all students incorporate practice tests into their tutoring schedule so that they can put strategies learned in their lessons into practice.

SAT, ACT, ISEE, LSAT - $15

GRE, GMAT - $15

GRE, GMAT (unlimited tests plus textbook) - $99

Test fees may be paid via check or cash at the appointment.

Free Diagnostic Test

The best method to set a course for a student's private tutoring is to take a diagnostic test. We will score it and analyze the student's performance. To schedule a free diagnostic test, go to our Free Diagnostic Test page, or contact us.

Registration and Payment
To enroll in Private tutoring:
1. Contact us to discuss your requirements and be prepared to give us your latest test scores.
2. If you have not already taken the test for which you are preparing, make an appointment to come in to our office and take a free diagnostic test.
3. We will recommend a number of hours of tutoring based on your past test or diagnostic test score.
4. Complete a class registration form for the kind of tutoring you need
5. We will contact you to schedule your sessions and to provide you with payment instructions.
6. To make a payment, visit our payment page or bring a check or cash to your session.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes unavoidable circumstances will mean that you need to cancel your appointment with us, but we do ask that you try to give us 24 hours notice. Cancellations within a 24 hour period of your appointment start time will result in a $25 fee. Thank you for your understanding.
