MCAT Course Schedules
The Sandweiss MCAT course is designed for independent, highly motivated students who need a structured environment to review material from their basic pre-med coursework. Our review course is fast-paced and assumes that students have already taken or are currently enrolled in one year each of general (inorganic) chemistry with lab, organic chemistry with lab, biochemistry, general biology, and physics and at least one quarter/semester of psychology. Suggested courses include cell or molecular biology and calculus or statistics. We strongly recommend completion of the prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in our review course.
Course format: We will meet twice each week to discuss challenging concepts in the assigned review material (reading and practice problems) and then work through sample problems together. Small class sizes allow in-class discussions to be tailored to the needs of students. Outside of class, students are expected to spend 6-8 hours per week on the assigned reading and practice problems. The course includes a diagnostic test, which will be used to generate a focused study plan, and two practice exams. The practice exams will be followed by test review sessions.
Payment is due at or before your first class session. Bring your $100 Seminar Attendance Discount Certificate to your first class and we will apply it to your balance due. If you would like to pay this course fee in installments, please let us know. We're happy to help you arrange this. Please contact us for more details.
